1. Who are you?

Kleena Blinds and Curtains directors have both been in the cleaning industry for over 35 years. All personnel and staff are trained under the direct guidance of the business owners to ensure all work is compliant and completed to the highest professional standard.

As a business, we are actively engaged in ongoing training in all types of window furnishing and cleaning protocols to ensure all aspects of our services and management are current and in line with industry regulation and practice.

Although we provide services independently, we have access to a wide range of information resources and experience locally and internationally, to ensure we can address almost any situation.

We feel we offer a professional, yet friendly and personal service that ensures that the needs of our clients are met in the most efficient and effective way possible.

3. Do you guarantee your work?

Yes! At Kleena Blinds & Curtains, we continually strive to exceed our customers’ expectations in quality, professionalism, service and value. Should we fall short for any reason or fail in our efforts to correct any problems to your satisfaction, we offer a ‘not satisfied, no pay guarantee’.

4. Why is ultrasonics so good?

When cavitation happens near a dirty object, the vacuum action produced by millions of bubbles constantly imploding creates a tiny pressure wave that reaches deep into every nook and cranny of even the most delicate items. This tiny pressure wave dislodges and breaks up the dirt and other contaminants and gently lifts it away. The result is very fast and effective cleaning.

Nothing is missed. The simple fact is, it’s the best cleaning process available.

5. Will my curtains shrink?

Because we use very low heat and only mild solutions to clean your window furnishings, shrinkage is rare. However, there is a possibility this could happen where curtains are made from certain types of fibres. We may experience shrinkage up to 3%. 

6. Do you clean onsite?

Generally, no. Cleaning curtains and blinds onsite is only carried out when they are too large to return to the factory or other situation exist where taking them down is not practical or not possible.

In our experience, cleaning onsite will only give you half the clean you would expect if it were done in the factory. This is because it is extremely difficult to clean between the pleats or gathers at the top of the curtains. This is where most of the dust collects and the area which needs to be deep cleaned the most. A rigid hand tools cannot extract the dust deep in the folds of the material.

Cleaning you curtains and blinds in the factory gives you a much better clean.

7. How long before you return my curtains?

It usually takes 1-3 days to complete the cleaning of your window furnishings. The greatest factor determining return is the drying time as we air dry. Air drying reduces the chance of shrinkage.

8. Do you take down and rehang?

Yes we do take down and rehang.

You do not have to do a thing. We will even make minor repairs before we rehang to give you peace of mind that your tracks and carriers are working correctly.

9. Do you supply new window furnishings?

Yes we can provide new or replacements for any window furnishing you have in mind. We partner with highly respected and professional organisations to offer you a complete replacement service with high quality materials and workmanship guaranteed.

10. How much do your services cost?

The cost of each of our services varies according to what is involved and the type and size of the window furnishings. We generally price cleaning by the metre of track width for curtains and blinds and number of slats for verticals. Larger than normal or commercial items are quoted separately.

If you would like a quote over the phone or by our contact page, please measure the total track width or number of vertical slats and we will quote you immediately.   

Where possible, we will provide you with an estimate of these costs over the phone. However, the only way to accurately determine if there will be a variation to estimated costs is upon site attendance and following a visual inspection of the job. Any estimates provided sight unseen is subject to variation. Any variation to estimated costs will be explained and advised to the client prior to commencing works.

In some instances, due to the nature of the service being requested, providing a quote unseen is not possible. In these instances, a site visit is required which allows us to properly assess the job and establish the scope of works required.

Wherever possible, we will offer the most practical and economical service solution. Where there are several options available, we will advise you of the same and the possible outcomes you can expect, so that you are able to determine the best option to meet your needs and your budget.

11. Who do you service?

We specialise in servicing commercial and residential customers alike.
We provide services for many large companies and organizations like hotels, airlines, governments, insurance, hospitals, resorts, councils, nursing homes, department stores, schools and universities and residential customers.
Please contact us regarding any service queries you may have. If we are unable to assist you directly, we are likely to be able to refer you to someone who can, or to point you in the right direction.

13. What areas do you service?

We primarily provide services in Brisbane and the Gold Coast area; however we are able to provide services outside of these areas depending on the type of service required.
Due to the nature of some of our specialist services, we often work anywhere in South East Queensland and Northern New South Wales

14. What if you can’t help me with the service I’m looking for?

In most cases, we have enough experience in the industry that even if we don’t or can’t provide the service directly, we will at the very least be able to provide you with an outline of the service, and what you should be looking for in engaging someone to provide that service.

We feel it is important to provide the client with as much information as possible. Your decision will then be based on all available information, including consideration of all practical and financial factors.

15. Are your services expensive?

Our general rule of thumb is we can clean and refresh your window furnishings for approx. one quarter of the price of replacing. Not only will your window furnishing look and feel much better, having them professionally cleaned will extend their life as well.

If you are looking for a service based purely on price, you may not find we are able to assist you. We do not guarantee that we are the cheapest service, but we do guarantee we provide a quality service at a fair price.
